As you pull off Road S2 to Blair Valley, there is a primative campground with outhouse. Follow the road markers towards the Pictograph Trailhead and there are camp areas along the way. Blair Valley The mountains are made of a million boulders, it boogles the mind. Pictograph Trailhead From the trailhead is a 1 mile walk to the Pictograph. No dogs allowed. Travel on established roads only. Do not camp near watering holes. No wood or plant gathering. When I complained they said they are not checking for illegals... There is another check point going north on Road S2 a couple miles south from Carrizo Badlands. They put water barrels along the road for the illegal immigrants.
