NESTUCCA ACCESS ROAD
There are several established campgrounds
along Nestucca River National Back Country
Byway and Nestucca River. It is a nice drive
of 14 miles. Good drinking water can be found
at most of the campgrounds.

Campsite is small and can be viewed from the road.

Road does about 1/2 mile loop around Hebo Lake
with some great campsites. Picnic tables, metal firerings,
outhouses, garbage service, and water in season.
Hwy.101 / Hebo, OR take Road#14 for 4 1/2 miles.

DIRECTIONS:
From Salem
Take Hwy.22 west for 25 miles
Take Hwy.18 for 2 miles to Willamina.
Turn left at the grocery store
(Past the lumber yards towards Cooper Camp)
It is about 15 miles to Bald Mountain Road.

ROAD CONDITIONS:
Narrow, paved mountain roads...
Some areas with dirt and gravel roads
Roads not maintained for winter travel.

WEATHER CONDITIONS:
We have been here when it snowed and the
roads were a sheet of ice. Most of the time
the weather is more moderate. It does seem
to rain a lot, but that might be because we
usually camp here when the weather is too
bad in the mountains and this area is easier
access.
