The old Hwy 20 is overgrown with bushes
and weeds, but is in pretty good shape. There
are a couple dirt roads where you could camp,
It is mostly BLM Land.

There are some more sections of
Old Highway 20. Near milepost 18, you
will see a road to the south. You can still
find some places to hide, but it is being
privatized. This used to be BLM Land...
now the signs say "Hap Taylor and Sons,
Trespassers will be Prosecuted." What do
you expect when Bend, Oregon has grown
from 10,000 people to over 70,000 in the
the last 20-25 years. You can't even walk
across the street anymore with the traffic..
