FROM THE BLOG:
Law Enforcement pulled us over to check
what our intentions were for taking photos.
Somebody was watching because he didn't
witness the camera. Suspect it was the security
for John Day Dam. The Visitor Center was
closed with baracades and fence. There was a
security guard who watched our every move
through a pair of bicnoculars. Just guessing
Homeland Security is involved.

We had camped at French Glen on the opposite side
of the Columbia River and wondered what was over
here. Didn't expect too much and it was a surprise
how extensive the park is, the road just keeps going
and going with dispersed campsites everywhere.
