Like an island in the middle of the salt flats, feels like an ocean, but much more dry and hot. No cars allowed to drive on the salt flats. This photo was taken from the camp. Notice the road that follows around the left side of the rock. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 30 turn towards Kelton. No numbers or markers on most roads Find the salt flat, follow around the edge and you will see the above photo. NOTE: We tried driving east towards Golden Spike, but never found it with roads going all directions. Going to try again starting from Salt Lake City.
