GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK
Dispersed and Primitive Camping

From Eli take Hwy 50 about 40-50 miles,
turn south on Road 487. There are two roads
that lead into the park. The free camping is on
the southern most road, turn just before Garrison.
There are campsites all along the road. It is dirt
and kind of a rough road, so check the weather
and conditions.

Were we camped was a creek running along side
of the road. There were some wild rock formations
and saw several caves(You will need a permit to
enter and explore any caves at Great Basin National
Park). It was very quiet, you don't see many people
out here.
