We usually camp at more primitive areas,
where the dog can run free and not bother
anybody. Continue past Haystack Lake
Campground for about 1/2 miles on the
dirt road. Turn on Road#9610 and there
are some spur roads and hideouts.

Julius and Sarah McCoin Orchard
Julius and Sarah McCoin Orchard

JULIUS and SARAH McCOIN ORCHARD
Always knew these trees were not natural
to this area, but just figured out the history.
There is also an old homestead, need to search
around, check old photos, ect... and don't
worry about the spirits of Julius and Sarah,
they welcome all with open arms.

THE COVE PALISADES STATE PARK
The Cove Palisades State Park has several
established campgrounds... probably showers...
Views and scenery will distort reality.

Lake Billy Chinook
Lake Billy Chinook

There are some more primitive camp areas
and spectacular photos near and around
Lake Billy Chinook.

Lower Bridge Road
Lower Bridge Road

On Lower Bridge Road are some perfect views
and areas you can camp or overnight park.
Between milepost 2 and milepost 5 is BLM Land.
There are several spur roads. Get out of view
from the main road and nobody will know you
are there. These roads are dusty in the summer.
