  • Do not put your tent near dead trees,
because strong winds may cause the
    tree to fall.
  • Watch where you walk. Burned stump
holes and root chambers can collapse
    and create tripping hazards
  • Avoid walking through burned ares,
as you may trample seedlings or aid
    spreading weeds.
  • Do not cut dead trees or collect dead
    or downed materials.
  • Obey all signs.

This storm took everybody by surprise.
It snowed about 18 inches Sept 2003

It snowed two nights in a row, then
melted the third day, turning the roads
to mud. Early the next morning, drove
out while the ground was still frozen.
