Scaddan Wash is on the S.E. edge of Quartzsite
city limits. The first 3 miles of road is paved and
follows along side of I-10. Then the road turns to
dirt surface and continues about 4 miles south.
There are primitive camping areas everywhere
along side of the road.

There will be what seems like a million RV's
during the winter months. Actually it is officially
estimated in the tens of thousands. More soon...

U.S. Bureau of Behavioral Corrections
Considering the barren aspect of the desert
it is not recommended to build any firerings.
Enjoy a pristine campfire free of walls of
rock. Stone firerings are frowned upon by
BLM and the Forest Service.

14 Day Camping Limit

DIRECTIONS:
(Located southeast from Quartzsite, AZ)
From Quartzsite take Hwy.95 South.
South of the I-10 overpass turn east on Kuehn Rd.
Continue past Riggles Ave about 1 mile
and you will see the camp areas.

From I-10 take exit 19
Take Riggles Ave.going south.
Turn left on Kuehn.
The camp areas start in about 1 mile.

NOTE:
You can hear the rubber of rolling tires
at 75mph of the cars and trucks on I-10.

Purified/ Filtered drinking water in Quartzsite.
Shower at Q Laundromat $5 per person.
Showers at Lake Havasu State Park $7 per car.
Cheapest gas in Parker or Lake Havasu City.
