Council Lake We love this place, it's just a classic campground. Beautiful camping area and campground. No picnic tables, just firerings and an outhouse. There are several campgrounds and sites along USFS Road#23, but this is our favorite. There is a boat ramp. No gas engines allowed, electric boat motors okay.

Council Lake is 34 miles from Randle (just before milepost 33) From I-5 at Exit 21, take Highway 503 and USFS Road 90 to juction of Road #23. Go north towawds Randle. You will see the signs for Council Lake in a couple miles, take road#2334 and the lake and campground are 1 mile. Tokhlaka Lake is 3 miles north on Road #23.
