Succor Creek

Awesome!!! While it was cloudy this day,
the photos tell the story. There are camp
spots everywhere along the road. In the
second image there is a creek along side
of the road and this is our favorite camp
(about 2 miles north of the Succor Creek SP)
There are picnic tables and firepits. The outhouse
is located at Succor Creek State Park.

This is a bird hunter's dream,
you will see pheasants, quail and
grouse around every corner.

DIRECTIONS:
From Vale, OR.
Take Hwy. 201 towards Jordan Valley.
Located between Vale and Jordon Valley.

Leslie Gulch - 10 Miles South

Checking out the side roads.

We got stuck here 3 days because it was
raining and a big semi-truck came plowing
down the muddy road and left ruts too deep
to navigate with the car, so just kicked back
and waited for it to dry out. Always prepared
with several gallons of water, plenty of coffee,
and enough food.
