DIRECTIONS: From Hwy.178. Between Ridgecrest and Trona There are signs marking the turn (several times we drove past it and had to turn around). RM 134. NOTE: It is a seven mile drive down rough dirt roads. The road can be impassable during bad weather. One time after the rain, the gravel and sand had built up in the road, we were at serious risk to get stuck, just had to stomp down on the gas and go for it. And there was one time we actually turned back. After you turn on the dirt road towards Trona Pinnacles, about half a mile the road splits, stay to the right.
