There are camp areas along Shea Road.
After turning on Shea Road from the junction
of Hwy.95, drive about 7 miles and you will
see OHV trails with camp areas all along the
road and throughout the desert.

6,105 acres. Home to many native plants,
animals and migratory birds. Don't be
surprised to see bald eagles.

section of the desert. There is gold everywhere,
we just haven't found it yet, but have found
some pieces of turquoise, lead, ect...

Know the weather forecast before traveling
in the desert. Know the rules of the desert...
carry extra water and supplies. Leave an
itinerary with a responsible person...
